Applicants should excel in written communication skills as deliverables typically consist of lengthy reports. Finance majors preferred. All candidates must have working experience with Bloomberg and Excel modeling; FactSet experience a plus. Progress towards an ASA or CFA designation also a plus. Responsibilities will include:
- Successful, on-time completion of USPAP-compliant valuation deliverables on tight deadlines.
- Performing research on discounts for lack of marketability and other valuation discounts and applying our proprietary valuation models to determine discounts.
- Valuation modeling, including discounted cash flow approaches and guideline companies approaches.
- Assisting management of the business valuation group in managing client relationships, including information gathering, due diligence site visits, and business development efforts.
